HOW IT GOT STARTED
I had been in search of something fresh and something raw. Something that was yet to be touched by the materialistic world. Yet to be carved into being. Yet to be tamed.
I was agitated and frustrated by the repeatedness and the known illusion that we all believe and have carved to be acceptable around us.
When I read “Ask yourself if you would do it if nobody would ever see it, if you would never be compensated for it, if nobody ever wanted it. If you come to a clear ‘yes’ in spite of it, then go ahead and don’t doubt it anymore.” by Ernst Haas, it stirred emotions in me. That was the day when I realised the potential of an innocent thought, a true moment, a pure heart, and the reality that we have escaped.
I have loved to travel my whole life and fantasised about visiting places. These experiences lead me to the search for the raw and refreshing. Something like a fresh taco with aromas of veggies just chopped, with basil leaves, tomato puree being poured and with the hot steaming cheese garnishing. If your mouth is watering, you can imagine my extent of the search for freshness now hahaha!
These emotions and feelings lead to the birth of

I am a girl with eyes that glitter hope and the desire to conquer the whole world. I am an addicted-procrastinator, living for the sudden rush of adrenaline that gets me going. I am a water baby, and would love to just be a mermaid in next life!
I love coffee and you can find me going sleepless on Dan Brown books. I love drama and mystery. (Has successfully talked all my girl gang into reading Nancy Drew at age 13! Yes!). Will talk too passionately about Julius Caesar and Shakespeare. (forsure will apologise later to you for showing off my extensive research on the topic!)
Literature and art satisfies my soul. I am a sunflower quite literally because you can find me looking for light to recharge myself. (ps: please wear sunscreen ALWAYS!)
I daydream about travelling the world. Trying to be an early riser since forever, and is hooked onto yoga these days. Experimenting with this world by bringing them something raw, refreshing and untameable. This is me, your person behind The Untameable Ink, Mehak Bhatia.
